"summary": "**Study a mental health nursing degree for a rewarding career supporting the recovery of individuals with mental health issues.**\n\nMental health nurses play an important role in the health and well-being of people with mental health problems and their families and carers. Our degree in mental health nursing prepares you for the role and responsibilities as a registered mental health nurse. You'll be working in the NHS serving southeast London and Kent.\n\nWe provide you with the skills to meet the diverse needs of people with mental health problems, including those with complex needs. You will learn accountability for the role you will play in their lives.\n\nWe prepare you to apply for registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
