You will learn how to take an idea, develop it by writing a script and then go on to produce a creative piece of work such as a film, a short reel or a podcast. \nAs well as being involved in all aspects of making films, adverts, music and performance videos and podcasts, you will also create compelling material for advertising campaigns by telling stories that help connect brands to audiences across different digital platforms.\n\nThe course is tailored to your interests so you will learn how to make long-form film projects as well as crafting short-form, shareable content optimized for distribution on social media applications such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. \nIf you are interested in making content for all the platforms and places where you currently watch and listen to things then this course is for you.\n\nWhat you'll study\nThe BA (Hons) Film, Screen and Content Production degree equips you with the skills for a range of careers across the film and screen industries by focusing on the creation of different kinds of content for big screens, laptops and mobile devices. \nAlong with teaching you the fundamentals of story-telling in the context of film and moving image, the course will teach you the production skills needed to make different types of content targeted at different audiences.\n\nThe practically orientated curriculum is designed with assignments that grow in complexity as you develop your skillset.
