"summary": "Our Master's by Research programme provides the opportunity to undertake a short, in-depth independent research project in one of our research groups. It will equip you for more sustained and original work at the doctoral level or for advanced-level applied research positions. This degree will develop relevant analytical and technical skills, together with transferable skills related to research, communication, problem-solving, and independent working.\n\nThe course structure is typically divided into nine months of full-time laboratory work as part of a research team, followed by a three-month writing-up period.
