"summary": "Course details may be subject to change.\n\nThe HNC in Construction Management can lead to Incorporation or Chartership status with the Chartered Institute of Building and other professional bodies.\n\nConstruction Managers direct, organise and co-ordinate resources for the construction and maintenance of building, civil and structural works including residential, industrial, retail and leisure facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nYou will be responsible for the programme, cost, quality and safety of development.\n\nYou will attend the University Centre one day per week and will study key areas such as Construction Technology, the Construction Environment and Legal and Statutory Requirements.\n\nYou will also be expected to conduct additional directed and independent study during your own time away from college to complete the programme.\n\nThis course can also be completed as part of a Higher Apprenticeship.
