"summary": "Vocational & industry focussed with an emphasis on practical skills, includes a one-year credit-bearing formal work placement.\n\nOn the BSc Honours Quantity Surveying programme, our students are taught by Chartered Surveyors who have extensive professional practice experience. \n\nThe course will allow you to learn the skills involved in design economics, procurement methods, cost planning and estimating, life cycle costing, measurement and quantification of construction work and contract management. We have regular guest lectures from industry experts who talk about working examples of their projects, which will give you a real feel of how the construction industry works.
