The HND Beauty Therapy is a two-year course developing the knowledge, research, and skills that will underpin your work in the beauty industry.The setting develops your skills in a realistic working environment, using contemporary salon equipment, and will develop proficiency in an array of salon treatments. To enhance learning and ensure better understanding of treatments, you will be required to practice on each other and must be willing to receive all treatments on your course prior to completing assessments. As part of your practical training, you will be responsible for sourcing and booking in external clients to complete your assessments. To support you in this, we maintain a small bank of regular clients.To replicate the professional standards in industry, you will be required to wear the designated uniform in all practical classes (black tunic and trousers/leggings) and black closed-toe shoes/trainers which you will be expected to supply yours"
