You will explore the process of sound recording and production, craft a portfolio of commercial recordings and be supported in promoting your music. \n\nYou will learn about the technology of the recording studio, the production process, explore cutting-edge 3D audio play-back systems and understand both the music industry and the changing needs of the music consumer.\n\nThe music industry is an important element of the creative industries sector and a significant contributor to the UK and global economy. In recent years, with the growth of new digital distribution models and the proliferation of live music events, the music industry has evolved significantly presenting new and exciting ways of music making and delivery.
