"summary": "**The BA Hons in Primary Education with QTS is a school-based, three-year undergraduate course leading to Qualified Teacher Status.**\n\nWHO IT IS RELEVANT FOR:\nAnyone who wants to be a primary school teacher and has A Levels or equivalent (equal to 112 UCAS tariff points)\n\nDURATION OF COURSE:\nThis course is full time for three years. Starting September 2026. Qualified Teacher Status is awarded at the end of the three years as well. \n\nCOURSE DELIVERY\n- Trainees will be placed in a host school for two days a week.\n\n\n- One and a half days a week will be Directed Study at Two Mile Ash Initial Teacher Training Partnership based at St Mary & ST Giles School, Stony Stratford/Galley Hill, Milton Keynes.\n\n\n- One and a half days a week will be set aside for self-directed study time and enrichment activities.\n\n\nBENEFITS \n- School-based training means that trainees are immediately immersed in a school environment where they are learning from experienced mentors while using and applying their knowledge and understanding to classroom learning through Teaching Practices.\n\n\n- Trainees will participate in a range of training that focuses on developing a reflective and critical evaluation of research, policy and practice to ensure their pedagogical knowledge reflects current thinking.\n\n\n- Trainees will be based in a school for the duration of a year, each year the school that they are based in will change so trainees get a full and rounded experience of working within different schools.\n\n\n- TMAITTP is able to offer a more personalised approach to your degree and journey to achieving QTS. \n\n\n- TMA ITTP is the most established Primary Teacher Training Provider in Milton Keynes, experienced in supporting trainees to become Outstanding Teachers though our PGCE route. \n\n\n- A large and supportive partnership of schools that allows us to find the right host school to support each trainee.\n\n\n- Trainees are able to acess resources at both Two Mile Ash Initial Teacher Training Partnership and Birmingham City University\n\n\n- Whilst Birmingham City University accredit and award the degree, students will be based in Milton Keynes.\n",
