"entryRequirements": "The normal requirement for entry on to a taught programme is a BA or BSc degree of 2:1 standard in a subject relevant to the proposed field of research.\n\nAll eligible applicants should normally have a good undergraduate degree in a relevant area relating to modern languages (a 2:1 honours degree or equivalent). Applicants with other specialised backgrounds or relevant professional experience may also be considered.\n\nApplicants with English as a second language should have a good IELTS score of at least 7.0 overall (with no less than 6.5 in any sub-score) for admission to the MA programme.\n\nApplicants with Chinese as a second language should have proficiency in Chinese (equivalent to the skills of HSK level 5).\nInternational qualifications: Applications from international students are welcome. "summary": "Focusing on translation and interpreting between two of the world’s major languages, Chinese and English, this exciting master's programme provides well-balanced practical training in translation and interpreting (consecutive interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, sight translation and public service interpreting), covering a variety of topics.
