The college aims to continue to widen participation within the local area, supporting local students into education. Providing opportunities for individuals from the community to contribute to their local Health and Social Care Sector employment shortage.\n\nAt the College and University centre, students will have access to digital resources and support from the digital team. Students will experience learning through virtual reality with the use of oculus headsets, the virtual anatomage table and the interactive education dolls.\n\nThe Health and Social Care Department have also received funding for a new simulation centre which has been designed to meet the plan of digital education and training within the NHS. This will allow students to become familiar with the potential surroundings of the settings students may encounter when progressing into employment.",
