Additional funding will also be available for childcare and to support regional recruitment difficulties. "summary": "Overview\nThe BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science degree is designed to enable you to practice confidently, competently and safely in a variety of relevant clinical settings. \nEquipping you with the skills and knowledge required to rise to the variety of challenges faced by Paramedics, you will be encouraged to show initiative, demonstrate critical thinking and work flexibly. \nStudying alongside other student health professionals within the School of Nursing and Allied Health, you will develop vital communication and interprofessional skills to enhance your practice and patient care.\nThe programme will develop your theoretical knowledge and practical skills within both the university, via state of the art simulation and through a variety of clinical practice environments. \nOn successful completion of the course, you are eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.\n\nWhy study this course?\n1. The curriculum has been designed to reflect the dynamic role of a Paramedic\n2. With our commitment to inter-professional learning, you will learn from and with other health care professionals to enhance your practice and patient care.\n3.
