"summary": "This two-year degree course is for people who want to pursue a career in the design industry. Successful students will develop a practical understanding of contemporary and emerging practice in graphic communication through storytelling, interaction and engagement, UX/UI and graphic design.\n\nIn year one, an introduction to the invisible language of graphic form, composition, balance, structure, rhythm, and hierarchy provides a foundation to develop skills in interactive design and the art of engaging users through visual output. Understanding brand and identity, narrative, and utilising design as a device for change and activism culminates in a Year 2 individual project to showcase your applied graphic media communication skills.\n\nThe final year provides an opportunity to establish your skills and evolve your practice as you build a portfolio of creative work through a final major project.
