"summary": "**Empowering change through Integrative Counselling**\n\nAspiring counsellors who are employed in the healthcare industry or candidates who want to switch careers would find this course very helpful, in particular those who want to learn more about therapeutic intervention.\n\nThe aims are that levels four and five will provide a challenging and high-quality academic grounding for level six, inclusive of study skills and research development. Along with practicing integrative counselling techniques to help students get ready for client work, these also emphasise personal growth, which allows for increased self-awareness and self-acceptance. The development of the integration of academic skills and counselling competencies is encouraged for students.\n. Students will also develop a firm understanding of the influence of other subject disciplines, such as lifespan development and mental health and contemporary client issues such as addictions, abuse, and eating disorders and an understanding of how culture and diversity impact the counselling role and relationship.\n\nFollowing the completion of levels 4 and 5, students have the opportunity to continue on one of two level 6 routes:\nAspiring counsellors can concentrate on their profession with the BA Integrative Counselling (level 6) program. It equips all students with the knowledge, skills, comprehension, and ethical instincts to work as knowledgeable, self-assured, and responsible professionals, preparing them for the challenges of working in this crucial and sometimes shifting field in both the public and private sectors. The course will provide students with solid knowledge and abilities that they can put into practice when they complete the 100 placement hours as one-on-one counsellors in the practical component of the programme. The student must also complete 10 hours of individual therapy, 1.5 hours of supervision for every 8 hours of Client work, maintain a current, upgraded DBS, and get professional indemnity insurance\n\nb) Students who do not intend to undergo placement and pursue a career as counsellors can still obtain an excellent degree through the BA Integrative Counselling Theory program. There are currently no options for students to enrol in a program where they can choose to skip the placement module and substitute theoretical modules for the hands-on learning component. In addition, practicing counsellors who may already possess a practicing foundation degree in counselling and are seeking to enhance their professional competence and further their careers with a complete degree would find this to be very appealing. Since these students will have already completed the 100 hours necessary by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), it would not be expected of them to complete any more hours on placement. Neither would they be required to participate in 10 personal therapy hours.",
