"modules": "You'll take compulsory modules in your first year of the LLB, and then you'll have the opportunity to focus on your interests in the second and third years by choosing from a range of law option modules.\n\nA unique feature of the degree is that you'll also be able to study across a wide range of specialisms, drawing on globally leading expertise in the departments of Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Art, and Media, Communications and Cultural Studies.\n\nYear 1 (credit level 4)\nIn your first year, you'll study the following compulsory modules:\n21st Century Legal Skills\t\nContract Law\t\nCriminal Law: Theory and Practice\t\nPublic Law and the Human Rights Act\t\nEnglish Legal System in a Global Context\t\n\nYear 2 (credit level 5)\nYou'll study the following compulsory modules:\nEU Law and the UK\t\nLaw of Tort\t\nLand Law\t\nTrusts\t\nInternational Law and Politics\t\n\nOption modules\nYou'll then select 2 option modules to the value of 30 credits. You can choose from the following:\n\nDepartment of Law modules\nImmigration Law\t\nIntellectual Property Law\t\nThe Goldsmiths Project\nThe Goldsmiths Elective \t\n\nWe run an 'Immigration Law and Policy Clinic' that you can take for credit if you select The Goldsmiths Project module.\n\nModules in other departments and Connected Curriculum modules\nTo broaden your studies you can choose to select modules from other departments such as Sociology and Politics. Exact lists of these modules will be available at the beginning of each academic year. \n\nYou can also select modules from the Connected Curriculum, if you're keen to extend your studies beyond law. \n\nIntercollegiate module programme\nYou could also choose to take advantage of our and study one module from a participating University of London Law School. This can further enrich your academic experience.\n\nYear 3 (credit level 6)\nIn your third year, you'll take 6-8 modules (90-120 credits) from the following modules:\nDissertation\t\nAI, Disruptive Technologies and the Law\t\nHuman Rights Law and Clinic\t\nWork Placement\t\nCommercial Law and International Trade Agreements\t\nArt Law\t\nCompany Law\t\nSQE2: Practical Legal Skills in Context\t\nCriminal Evidence (with Advanced Mooting and Advocacy)\n\nAnd, depending on the number of credits you select from the Department of Law modules, you can take 1 or 2 modules from the below interdisciplinary modules:\nConfronting climate crisis\t\nMedia Law and Ethics\nAnthropology of Rights\t\nCrimes of the Powerful\t\nPsychology and Law\t\n\nYou could also choose to take advantage of our intercollegiate module programme and study one module from a participating University of London Law School.\n\nPlease note that due to staff research commitments not all of these modules may be available every year.",
