It incorporates all modules from Years 1 to 4, providing a strong grounding in core engineering principles, design methodologies, computing skills, and the fundamentals of energy systems. Students also explore strategies for improving energy efficiency in engineering design and practice, with a focus on developing more sustainable and environmentally responsible industrial processes.\n\nIn Year 5, the programme introduces advanced, compulsory modules such as Sustainable Energy Technologies, Design Project and, Modelling, and Optimisation of Advanced Energy Systems.
