You’ll understand and advise on the types of legal and commercial issues that impact businesses, including:\n•\tHow commercial disputes are resolved\n•\tThe types of issues that arise when entering complex commercial contract\n•\tThe full range of legal and commercial issues (including IP, employment, property and planning) on which you might need to advise in a company commercial context\nPathway 2: Advising Corporates\nYou will develop knowledge in the core areas of law and practice that are important for anyone joining a City/corporate practice, advising national and international companies and financial institutions on a range of legal issues that affect their businesses.\nThis will include:\n•\tHow public and private companies raise capital through the sale of shares or through debt financing\n•\tHow companies are bought, sold and restructured\nPathway 3: General Practice\nYou will develop in-depth legal knowledge and skills which will fully prepare you for a broad range of practices.
