Delivered online, the course is designed to accommodate a variety of schedules, allowing students to engage with content, live sessions, and independent study in a way that suits their individual needs.\n\nThe International Luxury Business is a specialist programme that will introduce you to luxury brands, strategic and business models specific to the luxury industry.\n\nThe programme offers students from varied backgrounds and disciplines the opportunity to be introduced to the luxury industry at postgraduate level, utilising and honing your existing transferable skills whilst attaining valuable knowledge in line with your career aspirations to work in the luxury industry.\n\nProgramme Aims\nThe core aim of the programme is to provide opportunities for you to become effective practitioners in luxury business and communication, to be able to understand the business models and communication channels used by luxury brands and the ways in which those business models and communication channels can be utilised most creatively and effectively by implementing effective strategic solutions. \n\nThe programme aims to ensure that on completion of the course you are able to demonstrate:\n\nCritical awareness of current issues and developments in the luxury industries\nThe effective application of critical thinking skills\nKnowledge and understanding of professional and business responsibility, integrity and ethics\nThe ability to reflect on your own progress as a learner and professional practitioner\nThe objective is to support an effective transition from study to employment, clearly connecting theoretical topics and academic study to contemporary industry practice.\n\nYou will become familiar with life-long learning approaches that will allow you to continue to advance your knowledge and understanding and develop new skills to a high level after graduation.\n\nThe programme will combine independent research with taught academic content and talks/masterclasses from leading industry professionals. Test result certificates must accompany applications and are required for all international students (EU included). You can meet this requirement through a range of qualifications, including school qualifications, English language tests, pre-sessional/English Foundation programmes, and Secure English Language Tests (SLTs). Below, please find the minimum required scores for our most commonly submitted English Language assessments: IELTS Academic: \n\n6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component \nTOEFL (IBT): 72 overall, with a minimum of 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening, and 20 in Speaking \nPearson (PTE) Academic: 59 overall and in all components \n\nPlease contact the Admissions Team for guidance if you are planning to take (or have completed) another test.
