"assessmentMethods": "You will be assessed using a number of formats designed to tap into the different skills that highly relate to skills and competencies that are required or useful in employment in clinical neuropsychology.\n\nThese include timed ‘take home’ exams when being assessed on acquired knowledge, clinical case reports when being assessed on clinical competency, topic papers or ‘strategic’ literature reviews based around your professional goals and your ability to find out and critically appraise new information, and your participation in the online ‘study group’ community.",
"entryRequirements": "Applicants should:\n\nBe HCPC registered (or equivalent) Practitioner Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (you will need to provide a HCPC registration number and doctoral level training equivalent education with postgraduate teaching, practicum and thesis).\n\nBe a member, or have eligibility for full membership, with British Psychological Society (BPS) division (i.e., DCP or DCoP) or equivalent\n\nBe employed (part-time or full-time) in a service that provides assessment and/or intervention for individuals with neurological conditions, brain injuries, or conditions with neuropsychological presentation in which clinical neuropsychology represents a component of the service.\n\nHave access (and likelihood of permission and client consent) to cases that can be written up for assessment of your clinical competence, for educational purposes, toward completion of the PGDip award\n\nHave a minimum of one-year post-qualification / HCPC-registered experience in the/a clinical neuropsychology service\n\nDemonstrate how to work effectively in teams, taking a compassionate and client-centred approach, and have capacity for reflective practice – you will have the opportunity to showcase these skills in the interview with our course directors.",
