"assessmentMethods": "Study is full-time over one year and comprises two semesters of taught modules.\n\nStudents are taught how to design, plan and conduct mental health related research and how to evaluate papers, theories, findings and methods used in clinical psychology, psychiatry and other mental health related disciplines. Learning takes place in lectures, seminars, laboratories, practical exercises in communication and through directed personal study.",
"entryRequirements": "You should have, or expect to obtain, an Honours degree in Psychology (2:2 or above) that is recognised by the British Psychology Society (BPS) as providing Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC). If you do not have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, we also accept applications from applicants who have completed a Masters conversion course that is accredited by the BPS.\n\nInternational applicants\nIf you are an international student and your Psychology degree was not accredited by the BPS, you can read more about applying for this equivalency. Your application will not be considered by the MSc Programme Team until you have submitted evidence of your Undergraduate degree equivalency.\nApplications from International Students must submitted by May 2024.\n\nHow to apply\n\nAs part of the application process, you will be asked to submit:\n\n a personal statement outlining your motivation to apply for this course, and outlining any relevant work experience\n a research proposal (approximately 500-750 words)– we recommend basing this on your Final Year Undergraduate Dissertation Project\n evidence that your Undergraduate degree is accredited by the BPS, or is considered by the BPS to be equivalent to an Undergraduate Psychology degree in the UK\n\nThe research proposal should include:\n\n some background literature and to state the aims of your study\n an outline of your methods and proposed method of data analysis\n some implications of your research question\n\nYour application will not be considered by the programme team until all the above items have been submitted.",
