"entryRequirements": "The University of Liverpool Management School continues to welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced international student cohort. However in order to maintain the high quality of student experience, programmes will stop accepting new applications from certain countries once the number of offers from these countries exceed the target. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year. In these cases we will aim to provide a 3-week notice period to the affected country, prior to any programme closure.\n\nIt is a prerequisite that all students have a minimum of a 2:1 in a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited Psychology bachelor degree providing Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).\n\nThe BPS is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. A list of BPS accredited courses can be found on their website.\n\nInternational qualifications: Applications from international students are welcomed. Country specific information on entry requirements is listed on our website: www.liverpool.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines.",

"summary": "Designed and delivered by leading academics and experts in their field, the MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology programme is a British Psychological Society (BPS) Accredited Programme focused on developing the future generation of practitioners in occupational psychology who can make a positive difference to effectiveness and well-being of people and organisations. \n\n**Programme Overview**\n\nThe programme draws upon the latest evidence and cutting-edge research to cover all major aspects of occupational psychology, enabling students to develop a critical understanding of how research into human behaviour at work can be applied to enhance the effectiveness of people and organisations at work. Core areas include; leadership, motivation and engagement; well-being at work; work design, organisational change and development; psychological assessment at work; and learning, training and development. Students also undertake a supervised empirical research project, building their knowledge of research methods in psychology and developing skills in the conduct of research in organisational contexts. In doing so, the MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology equips students will the knowledge base and practical skills necessary for a career in occupational psychology and constitutes Stage 1 of the BPS Qualification in Occupational Psychology. It also provides a strong foundation for those who would consider progressing to a Doctor of Philosophy programme.\n\nThe MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology is based within the Work, Organisation and Management (WOM) Department in the University of Liverpool Management School. Designed and delivered by leading academics and experts in their field, the MSc OOP programme is directly informed by the research of WOM members, including, for example Professor Yves Guillaume’s research on work group diversity and leader-member exchange, Dr. Joanne Lyubovnikova’s research on teamwork, authentic and servant leadership, Dr. Pascale Daher’s research on gender and leadership, Dr. Mariella Miraglia’s research on absenteeism and presenteeism behaviours and wellbeing, Dr. Laura Radcliffe’s work on qualitative methods and people’s lived, daily experiences, and Dr. Sandra Pereira Costa’s research on the psychological contract, forgiveness and workplace stress.",
