"entryRequirements": "A minimum 2:2 (Hons) degree (or equivalent*) in Psychology which must be recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as providing Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC). \n• An academic reference.\n• A personal statement outlining your interest in the MSc. \n• We would normally expect applicants to have Grade 4 / C in GCSE English and Maths. \n• All suitable applicants are required to attend an interview. \n• A DBS check. In order to be eligible for Chartered membership of the Society and full Division membership, they will need to have achieved GBC via any of the available routes. *We will accept a BPS-accredited conversion course if you hold an undergraduate degree in a different subject.",

"summary": "Coaching psychology is the scientific study and application of behaviour, cognition and emotion to deepen our understanding of individuals’ and groups’ performance, achievement and wellbeing. \nThis one-year MSc (or two-year part-time) Blended Learning course will provide you with a solid grounding on coaching psychology theory and practice from a broad variety of psychology perspectives, helping you to use a research and practice-informed approach to promote change for individuals, organisations and their communities that is sustainable – attainable, lasting, and respectful of the wider social and environmental context.\nAdditionally, the MSc Coaching Psychology programme covers a wide range of transferrable skills with real-world value, with an emphasis on personal development, professionalism and employability.\nYou will be expected to work towards a minimum of 80 hours of coaching supervised practice (for BPS Stage 1 accreditation), building on taught coaching psychology skills and practice during sessions (with a mandatory minimum of 20 hour of supervision, embedded in the course).\nResearch modules will introduce you to advanced research methods, which you will apply to your very own research-based coaching psychology project.\nYou will be assessed through observed skills practice, written assignments, supervisor’s reports and the completion of coaching hours. This course has no exams.\nWe offer this course as a Master’s and a Postgraduate Diploma. For the Diploma, you will not complete the research consultancy project (and would not be eligible for the BPS Stage 1 accreditation). \nThe course can be completed in 12 months full-time (1 year) or 24 months part-time (two years). Whilst this is a full-time course, the blended learning delivery model enables you to balance your studies with other personal commitments.\nThe course is the first step towards gaining Chartered Psychologist status with the BPS, and will prepare you to progress onto Stage 2 doctoral-level training, which allows you to become Chartered).",
