"assessmentMethods": "We use a range of assessment approaches. These include case studies, a formative service user interview, essays, online tests, group presentations, practice placement portfolios and a dissertation.",
"entryRequirements": "Accepted Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree with minimum Upper Second Class (2:1) or equivalent in any subject or Lower Second Class (2.2) and a postgraduate qualification or extensive experience.\n\nEnglish at grade GCSE grade C or level 4*, (or a certified equivalent e.g., Key Skills Level 2 in Communication/ Literacy; IELTS 7.5 overall and with 7.5 in all 4 components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) etc).\n\n*For applicants who have a UK first degree at 2.1 or 2.2 and are not in receipt of their English Qualification at grade GCSE grade c or level 4 the admissions team in consultation with the Course lead have the discretion to waiver the English requirement. The decision will be based on the applicant's ability to demonstrates a good command of English in the different facets of the selection process (e.g., interview, test, etc).\n\nInternational Qualifications\n\nWe accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications. Please visit our \nInternational page\n\nEnglish Language requirements\nOverall IELTS 7.5 with a minimum of 7.5 in Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent).\nIf you do not meet the academic English language requirements for your course, you may be eligible to enrol onto a pre-sessional English course. The length of the course will depend on your current level of English and the requirements for your degree programme. We offer a 5-week and an 10-week pre-sessional course.",

"assessmentMethods": "At Stage One of the Professional Doctorate, you will be assessed via assignments (written and visual) and presentations. These will be marked by two members of the course team and moderated by an external examiner.\n\nStage Two consists of a 50,000 word thesis. You will be examined orally (viva voce) on your thesis by an internal and external examiner.\n\nYou must successfully complete all assessment before you can award your Professional Doctorate. Our Disability and Dyslexia Team is available to assist students with disabilities and/or learning needs with assessment.",
