All students will have a range of optional modules to choose from. These cover topics in statistical modelling, statistical machine learning and developing your computing skills in using statistical software including R. You could develop your understanding about contemporary statistical machine learning methods and how they are used to tackle real-world challenges. Any examination would take place at the end of the teaching period for the module.
