You will be supported by our academic staff and research groups.\n\nYou will study core modules to teach you the foundations of statistics. All students will have a range of optional modules to choose from. These cover topics in statistical modelling, statistical machine learning and developing your computing skills in using statistical software including R. You could develop your understanding about contemporary statistical machine learning methods and how they are used to tackle real-world challenges. This will allow you to study areas of statistics that you are personally interested in.",
