"summary": "The level 7 programme builds upon the past operational knowledge and experience of managers by focusing on the more strategic issues of management within an organisation.\n\nWith a more comprehensive structure, our Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership develops you further to give you all the key skills and competencies you will need to become an effective strategic manager. This course gives you full CMI membership and takes you another step closer towards Chartered Manager Status.\n\n**DELIVERY INFORMATION**\nWorkshops are held fortnightly on a Thursday evening, 18.00-21.00. Guidance and resources are provided in relation to completion of this. Due to the nature of the qualification flexible start dates are available throughout the year. In addition you are expected to commit at least one hour study per evening, a minimum of 230 hours over the duration of the course. The course is supported by online materials via our Virtual Learning Environment and may be supplemented by online delivery.\n\n**STAFF EXPERIENCE**\nLecturers of these sessions have occupational experience in the areas of management and leadership, which will assist in the practical application of the theory taught because of their occupational experience. A number of lecturers also possess CMI or academic qualifications in this field.",
