"modules": "Term 1 \nIn term 1, you take Situating Photography: Practice & Discourse, which introduces you to the programme community through resource inductions and workshops, helping you position your practice and ideas through dialogue, tutorials and group work. \n\nTerm 2 \nIn term 2, you take Making Public, which treats photography as an expanded field with a focus on the materiality and performativity of the image. \n\nYou also take Urgency of the Arts school-wide unit that explores how arts and humanities practice can respond to urgent sociopolitical issues through workshops and specialist-led discussions. \n\nTerm 3 \nIn term 3, you take Independent Research Project, structured in three parts: you explore your independent practice, create a public exhibition of your work, and participate in professional practice seminars that support how your work is seen, disseminated and contextualised. \n\nAcrossRCA (Terms 1 & 2) \nDuring the first two terms, you participate in the AcrossRCA college-wide unit, collaborating with students from other programmes on a self-initiated themed project that addresses cultural, social, environmental or economic issues.",

"summary": "The MA Photography at the RCA brings together a cross disciplinary community of artists and writers working at the forefront of contemporary photographic practice and image making. Photography is understood broadly, encompassing still and moving image, publishing, performance, installation, social practice, sound, synthetic media, text, and writing.
