"entryRequirements": "Our postgraduate minimum requirements are:\n• A 2:2 undergraduate UK honours degree or international equivalent or;\n• A degree-equivalent postgraduate diploma/professional qualification.\n\nApplicants who hold a degree from another discipline or have experiential learning in lieu of a degree may also be considered for entry via the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL).\n\n-\n\nExamples of work\n\nFor all postgraduate courses you will need:\n\n• To set up your portal\n• You will then be asked to submit a maximum of six examples of work from your portfolio for consideration. The files should be no larger than 30MB in total and it is essential that no more than six examples of work are uploaded.\n• One reference to support your application. This may be from an academic or a creative practitioner.\n\nApplicants who meet the entry requirements above will be required to submit a personal statement outlining their intentions for MA study.\n\n-\n\nRecognition of Prior Learning (RPL)\n\nIf you’re over the age of 21 and don’t have traditional qualifications, we may be able to consider your relevant experience as well as your educational background through the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL). Our MA Photography course promotes innovation and experimentation, supporting you to develop your own distinctive creative vision as a photographic practitioner.\n\nThe course examines strategies to resolve projects into substantial outputs such as publications, exhibitions and digital platforms, and emphasises the need to find an audience as being integral to a sustained and successful practice. \n\nThrough a research-based investigation using photographic practices, you’ll consider the cultural and ethical uses of the medium within a range of genres and approaches. You will develop skills for analysis and critical evaluation, as well as professional know-how to engage with the wider photographic community and industry. \n\nYou’ll be able to attend talks by a diverse range of international visiting speakers, with recent guests including Joy Gregory, Mariela Sancari, Amani Willett, Bolade Banjo, Cécile Poimboeuf-Koizumi and Amak Mahmoodian.",
