"summary": "The MSc in Research Methods with Education provides rigorous training in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods approaches, accessible to people from a range of backgrounds. The course benefits from an inter-disciplinary student body, with people specialising in: Education; Human Geography; International Development; and Planning, Property and Environmental Management.\n\nThe MSc provides an innovative blend of methodological training and discipline-specific modules. You will study:\n\n\n- Four methodological modules, covering qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research.\n\n\n- Four discipline-specific modules in Education from a range of optional units.\n\n\n- A dissertation.\n\n\nOur core aim is to develop critical, well-rounded social scientists that are equipped with both robust methodological skills and discipline-specific knowledge.\n\nThe course is recognised by both the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the North West Doctoral Training Centre, and therefore can be taken as part of a 1+3 PhD scholarship.",
