"entryRequirements": "The PgDip is open to current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registered first level nurses or midwives. Current NMC registration is part of the essential criteria for application and will be confirmed at interview, and as part of the onboarding process.\n\nApplicants will hold a first degree (honours) recognised in the UK. The University will consider applications on an individual basis if applicants hold an Ordinary degree in Nursing / Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies.\n\nApplicants will be required to demonstrate their capability to study at level seven through written application and interview.\n\nStudents will RPL their previous experience and study and submit an extended CV to support application to the programme.\n\nApplicants must also hold three GCSEs or equivalents at grade 4 / C or above, in mathematics, English language or literature, and a science subject.\n\nEvidence of recent study (within the last 10 years).\n\nInternational Students: For applicants who were educated overseas and subsequently achieved registration with the NMC – we will accept the qualification (i.e. Degree or Diploma) that qualified the applicant to practice as a nurse in their country of origin. Any international student who is an NMC registrant does not need to take an additional IELTS test - registrant status will be accepted. In addition, all applicants must have completed at least 12 years of general school education in order to be compliant with Article 40(2) of Directive 2005/36/EC.",
