"summary": "**Why study this course?**\n\nOur Sports Therapy MSc course is designed for sports scientists and similar graduates who wish to learn clinical skills and apply their knowledge to a therapy setting. You'll learn how to diagnose and treat sports injuries and develop practical and clinical skills. Completing the course will make you eligible for membership of The Society of Sports Therapists (SST), which gives you licence to practice as a sports therapist.\n\nIn the most recent Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey, 100% of all 2017 graduates from this course were in work or further study within six months.\n\n**More about this course**\n\nLondon Metropolitan University is proud to have been one of the first universities in the UK to develop this ground-breaking degree. The course answers the growing demand for professionals with sports-specific knowledge by equipping you with the tools necessary to become a professional sports therapist.\n\nThis MSc focuses on developing your ability to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate sports injuries or dysfunction. It includes the development of practical, patient-handling and clinical decision-making skills.\n\nOur University has a long history of teaching sports science and therapy courses and an excellent record of graduate employment in these fields.
