"summary": "Join the growing research culture in Journalism Studies at Sussex and explore the practices, politics and impact of journalism in a wide range of contexts.\n\nYou’ll work with experienced faculty guiding and supervising you throughout your research project.\n\n**Areas of study**\n\nWe particularly welcome research proposals in:\n\n\n- news journalism\n\n\n- political communications\n\n\n- journalism and the military\n\n\n- journalism and intelligence\n\n\n- investigative journalism\n\n\n- media and protest.\n\n\nProjects can be co-supervised by faculty in other subject areas as appropriate.\n\nWe understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision.
