"summary": "Our programme is ideal for those who are interested in science and public engagement, and who wish to work in museums and galleries with a science theme. For professionals working or collaborating with science museums globally, understanding public engagement with diverse audiences is essential, as is the ability to expertly curate exhibits and tailor them to audiences of varying ages and backgrounds. This programme will provide them with the skills needed to curate scientific collections, engage with the public, pitch the exhibits and collections to teams and external partners, communicate effectively, and develop collaborations.\n\n**WHY THIS PROGRAMME**\n\n\n- Unique programme to the UK in science-specific public engagement. This programme will equip students with skills in education, activity curation, and public engagement in museum and gallery settings.\n\n\n- Collaborative programme with an expert external partner: Science Gallery Bengaluru.*\n\n\n- Learn from expert guests on Public Engagement and Museum Education.\n\n\n- Create relationships with classmates across the world.\n\n\n- Develop skills in curating science exhibits.\n\n\n**PROGRAMME STRUCTURE**\n**Core courses**\n- Museums, Education and Curriculum Development\n\n\n- Science for Public Spaces\n\n\n- Interdisciplinary Learning in Public Spaces\n\n\n**Programme alteration or discontinuation**\nThe University of Glasgow endeavours to run all programmes as advertised.
