"assessmentMethods": "Teaching will include a mix of lectures, tutorials, student-led seminars, practice-based learning, case study analysis and individual project work. Emphasis will be placed on integrating clinical and university-based learning opportunities and on independent study. Your performance will be assessed by a combination of assignments, examinations and practical assessments.",
"entryRequirements": "Applicants must have equivalent to at least a UK 2:1 Honours Degree to be considered for the course.\n\nWe look for applicants to have completed work experience with people who have speech or communication impairments. This could be shadowing an SLT, volunteering with the Stroke Association or a stammering group, working with autistic children or alongside the elderly who have speech/communication difficulties. There is no specific field which we would prioritise, however, due to the competitive nature of the course we would recommend that applicants try and gain experience in more than one field as this will show that they have a greater understanding of speech and language therapy as a whole.",
