"summary": "**Critically explore what shapes crime, criminalisation, and justice in a rapidly changing world.**\n\nOn the MSc Criminology, you’ll explore contemporary issues related to crime, power, victimisation, social harm, and inequality. You’ll develop the academic and applied skills to understand and challenge these issues in local and global contexts. You’ll sharpen your critical thinking as you investigate the complex interplay between crime, the criminal justice system, and the lived experiences of those individuals and communities that are most affected.\n\nCriminology extends far beyond crime statistics and legal frameworks. At Roehampton, you’ll examine criminology through a bottom-up, decolonial, global perspective which emphasises practical solutions to issues around crime and social justice.
