"summary": "The Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Healthcare Professions’ Support for England is designed to support progression into relevant occupational areas or on to pre-registration study. \nThe Level 5 Higher National Diploma offers one optional unit for students who wish to concentrate on a particular aspect of healthcare practice. \nLearners will complete work-based experience as part of the programme which will greatly enhance their employability on completion of the programme. \nThe programme is designed for learners from a variety of areas. A blend of learners who are for example, working and will be new or returning to Higher Education, or learners who have some experience the Health and Social Care environment.\nLearners will be required to undergo an ehnaced Disclosure and Barring Scheme (DBS) check to confirm their suitability to meet the work- based requirements, and will be required to complete a minimum of 225 hours in a relevant setting in the sector. (This includes a further 225 hours completed to achieve the HNC)",
