There are no examinations.\n\n**Qualification awarded**\nPearson Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Leadership and Management for England - subject to validation\n\n**What are HTQs?**\nHigher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are new or redesigned Level 4 and 5 qualifications (such as HNCs and HNDs) that have been approved against occupational standards in their sector. These qualifications have been developed by UK awarding bodies, working with employers and businesses to make sure that students get the specific training, knowledge and skills they need for their chosen career.\n\n**Your career and progression**\nThe Level 4 HNC provides a strong foundation in business, giving students the skills, confidence, and knowledge to progress. The next stage, the Level 5 HND in Leadership and Management, allows students to continue their studies and progress to the final year of a degree if they choose.\n\nGraduates will be well prepared for careers across the public, private, and voluntary sectors. This multi-disciplinary route equips you with the skills needed to succeed in business without limiting you to a specific role. Many of our graduates go on to work in a wide range of organisations across these sectors.\n\nAfter graduating, you could pursue roles such as :business advisor, business development manager, investment banker, data analyst, consultant, project manager, accounts manager, risk manager, stockbroker, estate agent, HR manager, supply chain manager, or teacher. Some students also choose to continue their studies at postgraduate level.",
