It provides a supportive entry point if you do not yet meet the requirements for direct entry onto a degree, or if you are returning to study.\n\nDuring the year, you will develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand human behaviour and the factors that influence how people think, feel and act. You will explore key ideas from the social sciences and be introduced to psychology as a scientific discipline.\n\nYou will build a strong foundation in the social sciences while developing essential academic and professional skills such as communication, critical thinking, teamwork and independent learning.
