A variety of methods will be used to ensure alignment with programme learning outcomes and to provide you with opportunities to demonstrate higher-level analytical and problem-solving skills. Formal summative assessment will include a combination of: Individual coursework such as coding assignments, applied projects, and technical reports. Written examinations testing critical understanding of financial concepts and analytical methods. Group projects and presentations assessing collaborative problem-solving and communication skills. A final dissertation or independent project, in which you will research and analyse a substantial problem in financial data analytics. In addition, formative assessment will play an important role in supporting learning. You will receive feedback through in-class discussions, practice exercises, online quizzes, draft project submissions, and interactive computer-based workshops. Formative tasks are intended to guide your independent study and help you identify areas for improvement. Assessment criteria will emphasise critical analysis, originality, and the ability to integrate financial theory with advanced data analytics methods.",
