To find out more and to apply for an International Foundation Year, visit https://kuic.keele.ac.uk/\n\n**Geology and Physical Geography with Integrated Master's**\nOur four-year Geology and Physical Geography MSci provides in-depth study of Earth's landscapes, structures and resources. Alongside advanced training in fieldwork, laboratory work and data analysis, you'll develop the high-level research skills to pursue a specialist career in geoscience, or progress to doctoral study.\n\nYear one builds a strong foundation across geological structures, Earth's major systems, climate change and natural hazards. You will also put your learning into practice through a series of one-day field courses. Year two builds on this, with particular attention paid to first-hand observation, recording and interpretation of geological and physical geography phenomena in the field and laboratory.\n\nBy year three, you'll have the freedom to specialise in the topics that interest you most. You will also undertake an independent research project, bringing together the knowledge and skills developed across your first two years of study. Your fourth year is designed to enhance your research skills, from critically evaluating scientific literature to designing and conducting an authentic research study.
