"summary": "With the banking industry undergoing major changes, there has never been a more exciting or challenging time to join the profession.\n\nOur Finance and Banking MSc programme explores the changing environment within which financial institutions operate, the globalisation of finance, changes in technology and the regulatory environment. You will also gain an appreciation of the evolution of finance and banking theory, as well as contemporary debates and controversies within the industry. \n\nThe industry placement or research year is a great way to gain valuable professional or academic experience and provides an opportunity for international students to study in the UK for two years instead of one. We offer a two-year international study visa route to support applications for this course.\n\nThis course is part of our Finance MSc programme. All students complete the same core finance modules, then from the end of the first semester you will be able to specialise in one of seven areas.\n\nThe other specialisms offered are:\n\n\n- Finance and Accounting MSc \n\n\n- Finance and Data Analytics MSc\n\n\n- Finance and Fintech MSc\n\n\n- Finance and Investment MSc \n\n\n- Finance and Risk Management MSc \n\n\n- Economics and Finance MSc.\n\n\nThe University of Brighton is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – an accreditation achieved by fewer than 6% of business schools globally. \n\nFor more information on part-time studying options please visit the course page on our website.",
