"summary": "Since the banking crisis, risk managers have been increasingly sought after. Large companies rely on them to advise on appropriate risk-taking, identify and assess threats and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks.\n\nOur Finance and Risk Management MSc will develop your knowledge of risk management theory at a company, country and international level, and investigate contemporary debates and controversies in the subject. \n\nThe industry placement or research year is a great way to gain valuable professional or academic experience and provides an opportunity for international students to study in the UK for two years instead of one. We offer a two-year international study visa route to support applications for this course.\n\nThis course is part of our Finance MSc programme.
